This is the on-line resource for my AD&D game as well as point of reference for anyone interested in fantasy gaming. Many areas on this site are under construction including the Mini's & Modelling area and the Battlesystem project, which is slowly moving forward. Other areas will be added to and existing areas further developed so check in occasionally to see what's new.

Attention players - please send me character and party information to add to the site that can be shared by the other players.

For anyone who has chanced upon this site feel free to explore. The most useful area for casual visitors would be the links page but hopefully the Mass Combat Rules will be ready for use soon.

As players of D&D we have been at it since circa 1980 and probably qualify as veterans of the game in terms of years playing though probably not in terms of games played. We are lucky to hold a game every couple of months and this particular campaign has had hiatuses of many years. It was wrought during imaginative teenage years (when lots of time is available) and probably should have been shelved long ago for a better commercial product. However D&D is a labour of love and a campaign world invented by the DM will always be kept alive longer than something someone else has invented. It also costs nothing.

We started playing D&D with the ancient rules then when Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks come out we pooled our meagre resources together to get the full set of rules. I still have the original Deities & Demigods!. With time on our hands we knew where every rule could be found. This campaign started with 1st Edition rules (as can be seen by the character classes) and has gradually picked up 2nd Edition rules along with a smattering of house rules. Now that we can afford all the rule books there is never enough time to study them - thus is life. I have to say the Core Rules CD's however make life a lot easier just for the electronic rule books alone.

Our gaming sessions would be described as beer and pretzel affairs however it is pizzas not pretzels and sometimes beer is swapped with hard liquor and soft drugs. (But only in the name of role-playing of course) Despite this the game is played in earnest with the high drama and emotion that D&D can generate and what makes it such a great game.

The characters in this game are all a cut or five above the average denizen of this game world and enjoy several exceptional statistics that makes them unique heroes. After all D&D is a heroes system and great joy is had in the relishing and unleashing of the skills and powers that accompany such remarkable characters.

Enjoy.
